Keisha Jefferson (Dr. J) is a seasoned educator and administrator with a strong presence in Conway. After graduating from the University of Central Arkansas, she launched her impressive 27-year career in education, primarily focusing on PK-12. Now, she is passionately stepping into the realm of Early Childhood Education, where she is determined to create transformative experiences for families in Conway.

Dr. J understands the importance of a holistic approach to Pre-K instruction and is committed to guiding each child’s learning journey with a focus on their overall development. With her extensive expertise, Dr. J and her team are dedicated to providing families with exceptional support and a clear vision for lifelong success, meeting children right at their level.

In her vibrant learning environment, children will thrive as they explore spiritual principles, develop social skills, and engage in academic learning, all within a warm and nurturing atmosphere. As a proud parent of five and grandparent of four, Dr. Jefferson brings a wealth of personal experience and commitment to her role, ensuring that every family feels valued and inspired.

Social-Emotional Development

Our program focuses on developing critical social and emotional skills essential for future success. Our classrooms are divided by ages, stages, and developmental needs so that the students can absorb all of the information around them and master skills daily!

Following the standards we ensure that each child is given the attention needed to develop skills for future life. Our curriculum is both research-based and flexible for the needs of all learners. Along with our curriculum, we incorporate strategies to help enhance each child's executive functioning skills so that they can become stronger academic learners.

At Jefferson's Early Learning, we take pride in our youngest learners and try to assure them a lasting experience. Our curriculum is a comprehensive, dual-language program that is backed by research. We work with an aligned curriculum, use data to individualize portfolios, and use formative assessments to support kindergarten readiness.

Nurturing Christian values is important to our team and we model those values while teaching our earliest learners. Children will be in a Christ-Centered environment that has a firm foundation of kindness, inspiration, cooperation, and family unity.

We strive to offer a variety of food options and encourage children to expand their pallets early. Family Style Meals promotes social skills and language, creates warm relationships between children, peers, and teachers, and promotes decision-making. As children see adults making healthy choices life-long behaviors are formed.

Health & Safety as a Priority!

In order to keep our children safe and healthy we adhere to strict sanitation and safety protocols.

Healthy Lives

Daily and weekly disinfecting and sanitizing is our priority. Hand-washing and hygiene are modeled and taught daily.

Security is our Focus

Children learn best when they feel safe. Interior and exterior video camera recording 24 hours a day.

School Safety

We use a custom key entry code system at our facility for an added line of security. Visitors must sign in at the office.
